This candle is mainly decorative. If you choose to light it, follow these safety points:

  • Its special shape can cause dripping. Always place it upright on a heat-resistant holder/plate that can catch wax. (Wax lifts easily from cold, smooth surfaces like stone or glass.)
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep a safe distance between lit candles and away from drafts.
  • Do not move a burning candle.
  • Extinguish by smothering, do not blow it out and never use liquids to extinguish.
  • Keep melted wax clean and free of debris.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not burn near flammable objects or heat sources.
  • Trim the wick to about 5–7 mm before lighting.
  • Use a proper candle holder/plate; for liquefying candles, use a suitable container.
  • Reduce any wax rim to about 1 cm.
