This candle is mainly decorative. If you choose to light it, follow these safety points:
- Its special shape can cause dripping. Always place it upright on a heat-resistant holder/plate that can catch wax. (Wax lifts easily from cold, smooth surfaces like stone or glass.)
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep a safe distance between lit candles and away from drafts.
- Do not move a burning candle.
- Extinguish by smothering, do not blow it out and never use liquids to extinguish.
- Keep melted wax clean and free of debris.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not burn near flammable objects or heat sources.
- Trim the wick to about 5–7 mm before lighting.
- Use a proper candle holder/plate; for liquefying candles, use a suitable container.
- Reduce any wax rim to about 1 cm.
